HoHokus Nutley is a small private school located in Nutley, New Jersey, which prides itself on offering a personalized experience. It is one of five New Jersey campuses owned and operated by Eastwick Education. The other four campuses are in Ramsey, Paramus, Hackensack, and Paterson. Eastwick Education was founded in 1985 and opened HoHoKus RETS-Nutley in 1995.

    Admissions

    Applying to this school is quick and convenient. The application form can be accessed through the website under the “Admissions” page. After you fill out your personal information choose an area of study, a program, and the best time of day to be reached, the application will ask you for past education experience; the highest degree you have earned, and information on the most recent school you attended, including the dates.     This institution also offers financial aid through The HoHoKus School Scholarship Foundation. The foundation is an organization that was created to assist students in paying for their education. Individuals and corporations can make donations to the 501©(3) organization, which then makes decisions on how much money to give to students based on their scholarship applications which they submit to the School Scholarship Foundation.

    Students

    With less than 600 people enrolled, this is a small school. Since there is no on-campus housing, the entire student body commutes. Full time students are eligible for a 25% discount from NJ Transit, the New Jersey public train system.

    From 2004 – 2007 more male than female students attended the school, and White, Hispanic, and African-American ethnic groups made up the majority of the student body.

    Besides classrooms, the campus offers a library for student and staff use. The Eastwick College Library is open for students from all five campuses and is located in Ramsey, near the Ramsey campus. Visiting the library will provide you with a large variety of resources. Eastwick College also offers eGlobal library, which is online. The online library also has a variety of resources available for students and staff.
