Ashworth College Online offers comprehensive and nationally accredited online education. Three schools that were formerly known as the Professional Career Development Institute, Ashworth College, and James Madison High School are now unified as one educational institution. This results in expanded course offerings, far-reaching upgrades in support services and instructional enhancements.
Today, the college offers more than 100 flexible, lifestyle friendly education programs. Students may set the pace of study, schedule and deadlines as per their convenience. The program is nationally accredited by the Distance Education and Training Council (DETC), and regionally accredited by The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACS).
Degree programs include associate’s, bachelor’s and several other certificate courses in diverse areas of study. The college offers associate’s degrees in accounting, business management, computer information management, human resource management, marketing, and retail management.
Bachelor’s degrees are offered through 8 semester programs in diverse areas of study such as business administration, criminal justice, early childhood education, ebusiness, management, and marketing. The online Master’s degree is just 3 quick semesters away. Students can either earn a Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Master of Science in diverse areas of study such as business administration, health care administration, human resource management, international business, marketing, and criminal justice.
Students can also earn specialized skills online in as less as 6 weeks through online undergraduate and graduate certificate programs in accounting, business management, computer information management, construction management, criminal justice, early childhood education, finance, health care management, human resource management, marketing, paralegal studies, psychology, retail management, and security management.
Admissions are non-competitive. However, there are some basic prerequisites for each program. All programs offered are available on an open enrollment basis. Students seeking admission in undergraduate programs must have an accredited high school diploma or G.E.D.; and for graduate programs, a bachelor’s degree in any field from an accredited institute, with a minimum GPA of 2.5. No GMAT or GRE exam score is required.
The budget-friendly pay as you go approach of the college allows students to fund their education with interest-free monthly payments. Ashworth also supports the learning of members of the U.S. Army, Marines, Navy, and Air Force. With low tuition, students get military benefits so that they can complete their education with little to no out-of-pocket expense.
The college is approved for military education programs such as GI/VA education Benefits, DANTES, ACE Credits Accepted, SOC Institutional Member, Tuition Assistance, and MyCAA for Military Spouses.
